Halloween is coming soon and we’re getting ready! The children are learning holiday songs, listening to spooky stories and having fun working on fall art projects. They especially liked making Mr. Pumpkin Head in one of our centers.
We used imitation pumpkins purchased from Michaels for the head. I used a meat thermometer to punch the holes into the pumpkin where the plastic body parts are to be inserted by the children. It took some effort to insert the parts as the holes are still a bit tight, but I’m sure by the end of the month the task will be much easier.
This center activity was a great hit with all the kids!
